> ## Agent Instructions
> Start with /introduction/getting-started. Use the Direct Query API (POST /api/lens/query) with the Newton Fusion model (text, image, and video reasoning) or the Newton Omega encoder (time-series embeddings). ATAI_API_ENDPOINT is the base URL https://platform.u1.archetypeai.app with no version path; every endpoint path begins with /api. Pages whose descriptions are marked (Archived) document the legacy Lens runtime — do not use them for new projects.

# Model Registry

> View information about the models available for your use, including both platform-defined models and custom models created by your organization.

Every model available for your use can be found in the **Model Registry**. This includes all
platform-defined models and all custom models defined by your organization.

## The Model Registry Page

Upon clicking **Model Registry** in the sidebar, you're presented with the main Model Registry
page:

![The Model Registry page](https://mintcdn.com/archetypeai-bd6fb3cf/AXR5BESYvtjKb1_f/developer-console/model-registry/model-registry-main.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=AXR5BESYvtjKb1_f\&q=85\&s=c042002fba82cf68501fb8a5d48e2530)

At the top of the list are features to filter and search the list:

* The left-hand popup lets you filter by Newton model family.
* The right-hand popup lets you filter by scope (that is, whether the model is platform-defined
  or organization-defined).
* At the right side of the page is a search box to let you search for specific models by name.

Below this is the list of models, with the following columns:

| Column Name | Description |
| - | - |
| Model | The name of the model. |
| Family | The model family. |
| Size | The model size (in parameters). |
| Context | The model's context window size. |
| Scope | Whether the model is scoped to the platform (visible to all organizations) or the organization (visible only to your organization). |
| Registered | The date on which the model was registered. Hover your cursor over the date to see a full date and time stamp. |

The list is sorted in reverse chronological order; that is, the most recently created model is
listed first.

## Viewing Model Details

To see more details about a particular model, click on it in the model list. This will open a
model details dialog that describes the model. Base models (those that aren't fine-tuned
versions of other models) look like this:

![A platform model dialog](https://mintcdn.com/archetypeai-bd6fb3cf/AXR5BESYvtjKb1_f/developer-console/model-registry/model-details-platform.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=AXR5BESYvtjKb1_f\&q=85\&s=3253cdd3f264e164a1d452635279ae8f)

In addition to displaying the model's name and description, a badge indicates that this is a
**platform** model. Below that, a table provides the following information in its simplest form:

* The model family.
* The model's creation date.
* The model ID, starting with `mdl_`.

Other models, especially those created using fine-tuning, have more information:

Here, in addition to the information included in the simpler model details dialog, is listed the
following additional information:

* The inheritance of the model; that is, a log of each generation of parent model and the
fine-tuning checkpoint ID used to create the model. This goes back as many generations as it
takes to reach a base model. Each generation records:
  * The name of the parent model from which the examined model was generated.
  * The fine-tuning checkpoint ID used to generate the model.
  * The model ID of the parent model.
* The hyperparameters associated with the model, if any.
* Any metrics associated with the model.
